The bass pictured is the actual bass you will receive!
At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.
This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without care.
For 30 years the SR has given bass players a modern alternative. With its continued popularity, Ibanez is constantly endeavoring to answer the wider needs of a variety of players, at a variety of budgets. But no matter what the specs, the heart is the same-SR continues to excite with its smooth, fast neck, lightweight body, and perfectly matched electronics.
This SR300E features a Nyatoh body in Charred Champagne Burst finish. The SR neck is famous for its slim easy-to-play profile and the 5-piece Maple/Walnut construction provides excellent strength and stability while enhancing sustain. The Jabota fretboard has 24 medium frets, a 12" radius and a 1.5" nut width. Jatoba has a reddish brown color which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.
Equipped with an Accu-cast B120 bridge that has extra-wide string slots can accommodate even the heaviest of gauges, two PowerSpan pickups and Ibanez custom electronics 3-band EQ with 3-way power tap switch. Developed by Ibanez, the exposed pole pieces of the PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups produce a stronger signal, and increase the response of the higher frequencies without sacrificing low end. The result is a tone rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression. The 3-band EQ works in conjunction with a coil tap switch for maximum control over a wide variety of professional bass tones. Tap Mode (single coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation. Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a full, warm tone, and Power Tap Mode provides the best of both worlds-combining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bottom end of the humbucker.
Topped off with white dot fretboard inlays, Cosmo Black hardware and Charred Champagne Burst finish with matching headstock.
