The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive!

At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.

This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without care.

Just in on trade! And what a sweet piece of Rock 'n' Roll history this guitar is!

This 1973 Gibson L6-S Custom Eeectric guitar came to us from the original owner, who cherished this vintage piece and used it for decades as his main studio guitar.

Featuring a Maple body, a set Maple neck with a Rosewood fretboard and a dual humbucker configuration, this guitar is as versatile as it is classic.

Loaded with dual ceramic Bill Lawerence humbuckers, this guitar is voiced perfectly for a plethora of styles from Jazz to Punk and everything in between. Easily dial in your sound with the single Master Volume and dual Tone controls.

The L6-S Custom has a six way rotary selector switch, complete with the classic "chicken head" pointer knob.

Starting with switch position #1, in the most counter-clockwise position, the available pickup switching options are as follows: Position 1, both pickups in series. Position 2, neck pickup by it self. Position 3, both pickups in parallel. Position 4, both pickups, in parallel and out of phase with the neck pickup's bass response restricted through a series capacitor. Position 5, bridge pickup by itself. Position 6, both pickups in series and out of phase.

The capacitor in the #4 position gives a fuller tone than the otherwise very nasal out of phase tone. The capacitor serves to limit the low end response of the neck pickup, and also phase delays the signal from that pickup, resulting in a fuller tone, not too unlike the #2 and #4 switch positions on a Fender stratocaster.

The 3 piece Maple neck is extremely comfortable to play with its 10" radius, 24 fret, 24 3/4" scale and classic C shape profile. Keeping you in tune and intonated are the Tune-o-Matic bridge and Grover tuners, so you can worry about making music and not having to re-tune every few minutes.

Topped off with a classic Ebony finish, nickel hardware and a 5-ply black pickguard that'll have you turning heads wherever you're playing.

Bonus! This Gibson comes with a period correct Gibson hardshell case, so you can keep this guitar safe wherever your road takes you! The case does have one broken latch on it.

This is a used instrument and does show some signs of slight use, but has been fully tested and plays as expected. Please take a moment to review our pictures, as they accurately portray the true condition of the instrument.
