The banjo pictured is the actual banjo you will receive!
At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.
This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your banjo was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without care.
Deering's top selling 6 string banjo - in acoustic electric! This Boston 6 String banjo is tuned like a guitar - so guitar players can instantly start playing this banjo, with no learning curve.
Uniquely Deering, the Boston 6 banjo breaks with tradition and provides a professional quality sound by creating the rim from 3/16″ rolled steel which rings like a tone ring. Also, upgrading the accuracy of tuning, by way of guitar tuners with a higher gear ratio than the traditional banjo tuners. The beautiful inlay pattern gives you visual beauty enhancing the great performance.
This Boston B6 acoustic electric banjo has big resonant bass notes that you don't find on a 5 string banjo, and also crisp highs for that beautiful banjo tone.
Just plug it in and it's amplified with a great acoustic tone thanks to the Kavanjo banjo pickup. Comes with Deering's limited lifetime warranty and the hardshell case pictured.
This banjo was the display at the Winter Namm Show in Anaheim. We have listed this as mint condition rather than brand new, since it was on display, but it has never been owned.
This banjo is the preferred sound in country recording studios and in non-traditional bands like the Keith Urban Band. You can hear this banjo played on Keith Urban songs like "Someone Like You" and his Grammy award winning "Sweet Thing." Taylor Swift uses this banjo on her Grammy award winning song "Mean".
