The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive!
At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.
This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without care.
The Farm recently visited the Breedlove factory in Bend, Oregon and got a first-hand look at their meticulous build process. We hand-picked an array of amazing instruments, and some are prototypes and one-of-a-kind. We are offering these as Demo instruments since they were on display at Breedlove, but they have never been owned and are all in excellent condition.
Breedove's Masterclass Jumbo is for the aggressive player seeking a stunning, collectible heirloom-quality jumbo that will fill the room with a big, dynamic voice. The Masterclass Jumbo is the granddaddy of all flatpicking guitars, combining a set of world-class tonewoods that work in unison to deliver rich, distinctively crafted sound: a substantial low-end presence delivered by the solid Ziricote back and sides, combined with a solid Adirondack Spruce top that will only get better as it ages.
If you’re a strummer seeking dominating sound, the Jumbo – Breedlove’s largest body shape by volume – is the perfect body shape for you. If you’ve played a Breedlove Jumbo, you know it’s a powerful experience: Sound feels sonically propelled by the movement of so much air inside the body. It’s specifically designed to convey big, beautiful chords across all six strings – a strummer’s paradise. This body provides a big bass response, and a sound that Breedlove Jumbo devotees describe reverently as “grand-piano like.” The Breedlove Jumbo rises above the competition in its clarity and expressiveness due to its graduated top, which adds nuance to the tonal spectrum without losing volume.
The 25" scale Honduran Mah neck features a slimmer neck profile which enables comfortable play, even with smaller hands. The hand-rubbed, semi-gloss Breedlove neck finish contributes to ideal playability – the finish process alone takes three days, including precise finish coat applications, fine sanding, and hand buffing and rubbing. The Ebony fretboard offers 20 frets and a 1 3/4 inch nut width and boasts Abalone Masterclass Leaves inlays.
Additional appointments include LR Baggs Anthem TRU-Mic electronics, a winged African Ebony bridge, Abalone soundhole rosette, Gotoh gold tuners with Ebony buttons, natural gloss finish and comes with the hardshell case pictured.
Breedlove players around the world can attest: With consistent, proper care, your Breedlove will give you a lifetime of service – and inspiration. New Breedlove instruments, purchased through The Music Farm, are warrantied to be free of defects in materials and workmanship throughout the lifetime of the original owner. In addition to materials and workmanship, Breedlove offers a two-year warranty on tuning machines and electronics packages. Cases and bags are subject to a one-year warranty covering defects in structure and hardware.
