The sE Electronics sE2200a II is a large-diaphragm true condenser microphone that builds on the legacy of the award-winning sE2200a. Known for its smooth, "expensive" sounding top-end and its distinctive black rubberized finish, this microphone is a studio workhorse that excels on vocals, acoustic guitars, and drum overheads.

Unlike many entry-level condensers that can sound brittle or "harsh," the sE2200a II uses a hand-crafted, gold-sputtered diaphragm to deliver a warm, classic character reminiscent of vintage European studio mics.
