Fender Vintage 1965 Bassman Guitar Amplifier Head with Bandmaster 2 x 12 Cabinet

Vibe with the sweet powerhouse sounds of the iconic Fender 1965 Blackface Bassman 50 watt head and a 2 x 12 "piggyback" cabinet. 

Featuring the classic dual channel set up, Bass Instrument (Volume, Treble and Bass controls with an added Deep switch), and, Normal ( Volume, Treble and Bass controls and added Bright switch). 

The tube chart is stamped "OK", denoting it would have been manufactured in November of 1965, although the serial number on the chassis denotes mid 1966. Making it very likely to have been assembled in 1965 with final assembly and serial stamping taking place in mid-1965. 

The plug has been updated to the modern and much safer 3-prong with a ground. Other than that, it's believed to have been re-capped, and all of the tubes have been replaced with a new set of JJ tubes. 

The paired cab is a time period correct Bandmaster head - noting that the "Piggyback" business are installed 2" out from what they would be on the nearly identical Bassman cab - a common swap that many players decided to do over the years, as they're nearly identical cabinets. In addition, this cabinet has been completely re-tolexed and had a new grill cloth installed, but the original Fender logo, corners, "Piggyback" speaker cable and pine construction are all still intact. The original speakers were also replaced with a set of EV Force 12 speakers. 

This amp and cabinet has been professionally serviced and re-tolexed by our house techs.

This is a used amplifier and does show some signs of slight use, but has been fully tested and functions as expected. Please take a moment to review our pictures, as they accurately portray the true condition of this amp.
