The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive!
At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.
This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without care.
Breedlove's Oregon Concert E Myrtlewood – Myrtlewood is an award-winning, all solid Myrtlewood versatile play style acoustic-electric guitar that has become a favorite of players around the world. The Breedlove sound comes through bold and clean with balanced bass, mids and highs. Engineered to perfection, this guitar is equally suited as a strumming and rhythm guitar or as a nuanced fingerstyle masterpiece. The Maple neck complements the Myrtlewood in tonal perfection. Myrtlewood is locally sourced in the Pacific Northwest – a short distance from where they are hand-crafted in small batches by dedicated craftsmen. The Myrtlewood sound stays true when amplified through the highly reliable LR Baggs EAS VTC electronics.
The Hard Rock Maple neck on this Oregon Concert E features a slimmer neck profile, which enables comfortable play, even with smaller hands. Unlike traditional dovetail neck joints that require major surgery for a neck re-set, it is easy to adjust the play action and neck angle with the Breedlove bolt-on neck and single-action truss rod. The hand-rubbed, semi-gloss Breedlove neck finish contributes to ideal playability – the finish process alone takes three days, including precise finish coat applications, fine sanding, and hand buffing and rubbing.
The asymmetrical headstock is featured on this Oregon Concert E isn’t just a pretty shape – it’s specifically designed to keep the strings in a straight, even line from the nut to the tuning pegs. The result is even tension, stable tuning, and ease of alternate tuning.
Additional appointments include an African Ebony fretboard with 20 frets and offset dot inlays, African Ebony bridge, black binding, semi-gloss back and sides, and a gloss top. Equipped with an LR Baggs EAS VTC system and comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
