    At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.

    This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your pedal was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.

    The Ibanez Tube Screamer, in its many versions and forms, can be found on pedal boards in every corner of the globe, on arena stages and in small studios and bedrooms. Its warm overdrive is a sound many players, from advanced to beginner, could never do without. Now, it gets even better with the release of the TS808HW, a Hand-Wired deluxe Tube Screamer built with the pro musician in mind.

    Encased in a special, heavy duty metal box, the TS808HW is Hand-Wired with select JRC4558D chips (same as the revered and often imitated TS808) and uses Japanese highend OFC cable (AWG21).

    Equipped with True Bypass, this Tube Screamer sends pure guitar excitement to your amplifier with no tonal loss whatsoever. This is, by far, the most evolved Tube Screamer ever created.

    Starting as the janitor/sound guy for my local church at the age of fourteen, music has always been a part of me. I went to school for music production, worked in music retail for thirteen years, became a "Jack of all trades" or so to say, and fell in love with the music biz. After several trials and tribulations, I had moved on to starting my own online music store. The Music Farm was founded in 2004, and I couldn’t be more blessed to have a crew like the one you see here. From our family to yours, thank you for allowing us to help you Grow Your Passion.     I’m Jason a.k.a. KOOK. I play guitar to accommodate my true passion of singing. Seattle music is where my heart lies. I specialize in acoustic guitars and microphones. I was a faithful customer at The Music Farm before getting lucky enough to work here. I like the idea of no pressure sales, it allows me to get to what our customers really need. There has also never been a cheeseburger I didn't like!

    Hi, I'm Jeff. Although many of my friends call me "Fong." I went to electronics school in the 70’s where I studied Vacuum Tube Technology. Though long before that I had started playing the guitar. My specialty is restoring Vintage tube amps, however I can fix just about anything from large speakers to small ukuleles and everything in between. I have a special collection of tubes, amplifiers, and vintage fuzz boxes. Working here at the farm has brought me into contact with so much incredible and unique gear, both new and used. I love having the opportunity to interact with great musicians in the area and from around the world!

    I may not be in a band but I love music; especially country and folk. Growing up, I enjoyed playing the flute in my high school marching band. I previously did marketing for a Cleveland Jazz radio station, and I am excited to pick up the beat here at The Music Farm. I am your typical crafty girl who enjoys creating and designing things in marketing and graphics. After a few years in Cleveland, I am ready to be on The Farm!

    I play both guitar and bass, but by no fault of my own I'm a guitar player at heart. At thirteen, I was supposed to get a bass guitar for Christmas, but my mom accidentally grabbed an electric guitar by mistake and that's where it all started! For the last eighteen years I have played in a 1980’s cover band. Because of my experience in the areas, guitar and pro audio are my expertise. I have worked in the music industry for nearly twenty years and wanted to work for a company on the rise that I felt I could add something to. I've never worked for a company that offered such a variety of brands and products. I would have to say, the only thing better than surrounding myself with music daily is hanging out with my step-dog, Bongo. But that’s just me.

    I picked up the trombone in middle school, then saved up my mowing money to buy myself a bass guitar, and taught myself by playing along to Led Zeppelin and Who records. After a brief stint as an education major, I changed my major to music. I have since had the pleasure of writing and recording music with a number of groups, and am currently a member of two local bands. Besides my obvious bias towards the bass, I find any and all instruments fascinating (the quirkier the better) and will at least take a swing at anything I can get my hands on.

    I grew up in a very musical family, where instruments were always on hand and family jam sessions were regular. I began on the trumpet in 5th grade, and have been playing guitar and songwriting since the age of 10. Music from all around the world has been, and always will be a passion and way of life for me. Working at The Music Farm allows me to help others feel the same joy and passion that I have for music. I have also been able to expand my knowledge of musical instruments and equipment. When I am not at The Music Farm, I enjoy playing gigs, gardening, painting, speaking French, and spending time with my loved ones.

    Lessons

    The Music Farm wants to be your go-to place for all things music. We want to help you Grow Your Passion® in any way we can. To help with this we have established an ever-growing lesson program, starting at age 5 and up. We currently offer guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo, and drum lessons. Our instructors are versed in other areas as well, so if there’s something you’re looking to learn, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

    Our lesson program runs with one 30 minute lesson per week. The cost of each lesson is $20. These are not group lessons, but a one-on-one with the instructor.

    Since every student is different, the first lesson is spent getting to know what goals the student has in mind as well as what kind of music they’re interested in, what the student already knows, and what they would like to learn. Practice is very important, and the instructor will likely assign homework to be done during the week prior to the next lesson.

    Because we believe practice is very important, we offer a 10% discount throughout the store to our students currently enrolled in the lesson program. This ensures the student will have everything they need, and also to thank you for choosing so take part in our program.

    Lessons can be rescheduled, but not refunded. So we ask you to please check your schedule before signing up.

    • Children who study music tend to have larger vocabularies and more advanced reading skills than their peers who do not participate in music lessons.
    • Children with learning disabilities or dyslexia who tend to lose focus with more noise could greatly benefit from music lessons.
    • Playing a musical instrument significantly enhances the brainstem’s sensitivity to speech sounds. This relates to encoding skills involved with music and language. Experience with music at a young age can “fine-tune” the brain’s auditory system.
    • The musician is constantly adjusting decisions on tempo, tone, style, rhythm, phrasing, and feeling - training the brain to become incredibly good at organizing and conducting numerous activities at once. Dedicated practice at this orchestration can have a great payoff for lifelong attention skills, intelligence, and an ability for self-knowledge and expression.

    If there is a problem with something you purchased, please contact us so we can help you. That’s what we’re here for.

    All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be returned in the original condition with all included accessories, case, paperwork, etc., and be shipped back to us, insured, at your expense.

    For sanitary reasons, non-returnable items include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Earphones/headphones
    • Microphones
    • Instrument mouthpieces
    • Guitar straps

    Layaway

    The Music Farm offers a surcharge-free layaway service to all of our customers, both via phone and in-store.

    How Our Layaway Program Works
    1. All layaway arrangements must be made over the phone or in-store and are not applicable when purchasing through a third-party venue.
    2. In order to place an item into layaway, a down payment of 25% will be required when opening the layaway. PayPal, E-Check, Credit Card, Debit Card or Cash are all acceptable methods of payment.
    3. All layaways must be paid in full within 90 days from the original opening date.
    4. If the item has not been paid in full within 90 days, the layaway will be canceled.
    5. All layaway arrangements are final. No refunds will be given for a layaway that has been canceled due to non-payment and/or surpassing the alloted time of the layaway agreement.

    Shipping Information

    We understand getting new gear is exciting! Below is a list of points based on some frequently asked questions about shipping different products around the world:

    • Most orders ship within 24 hours of payment being received. Orders placed on Friday (after 1pm EST), Saturday, Sunday, and holidays will likely not be processed until the next business day.
    • Transit time can range from 1-5 business days according to your location. Keep in mind, it is a general transit time and can be delayed due to extreme weather and holiday rushes.
    • Everything over $99 is shipped "signature required".
    • As a majority of our orders ship via UPS, we cannot deliver to a PO box. When checking out, please ensure a physical address is presented when making a payment. Failure to do so could result in a delayed shipping time, or cancellation of order.
    • Orders shipping outside the Continental USA can only ship via air services.
    • Orders shipping to U.S. Military APO/FPO addresses, PO Boxes, and U.S. territories (Guam, Virgin Islands, etc.) are shipped by USPS (6-10 business days). International APO/FPO destinations may require additional delivery time. NOTE: Boxes over 70lbs each cannot be shipped to these locations.
    • INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: We pride ourselves on the ability to ship internationally. There are exclusions, so call us if you aren’t sure if your country is eligible for international shipment. Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and fees are NOT included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyers responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
