The Does It Doom Walpurgis Volume 1 is a specialized "amp-in-a-box" overdrive and preamp pedal designed to capture the exact guitar tone of Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) during the early 1970s.
It was created in collaboration with Nick Williams (formerly of Dunwich Amplification) and is part of the "one-knob" series that Does It Doom is famous for.
The Concept: Iommi’s Signal Chain
The Walpurgis doesn't just provide distortion; it emulates a specific two-part signal chain:

Laney Supergroup Preamp: A JFET-based emulation of the late-60s Laney tube amplifier.

Dallas Rangemaster: A built-in, modified treble booster circuit that drives the preamp.
The "Worship" Knob
While it looks like a simple one-knob pedal, that single dial is highly functional. It acts as a blend between the raw Laney preamp and the Rangemaster boost:

Minimum: You get the unboosted Laney Supergroup tone (think the first Sabbath album).

9 o'clock: Paranoid era tones.

12 o'clock: Master of Reality / Vol. 4 era (thicker, more saturated).
