At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.
This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without care.
The foundation of the DK DKAR-M EXTR is its sleek and resonant Dinky body. Constructed from Poplar, this tonewood provides a balanced sonic character with good sustain, ensuring your riffs and solos cut through the mix with clarity and punch. The sculpted contours offer exceptional comfort and balance, whether you're tearing it up on stage or honing your skills in the studio.
Attached via a sturdy bolt-on construction is a rock solid Maple neck. Known for its bright tonal qualities and stability, the maple neck on the DK DKAR-M EXTR is shaped into Jackson's renowned Speed Neck profile. This profile is meticulously carved to be thin and incredibly comfortable, allowing for effortless navigation across the entire fretboard.
Capping the neck is a smooth and resonant Laurel fretboard. The fretboard boasts a player-centric 12"-16" compound radius. This innovative design is rounder near the nut, providing a comfortable feel for chording, and gradually flattens out towards the higher frets, allowing for effortless string bending and low action without fret-out. The fretboard is adorned with 24 jumbo frets, offering maximum control and sustain for expressive lead work. Iconic perloid sharkfin inlays serve as stylish position markers, adding to the guitar's aggressive aesthetic.

You are buying a quality instrument made of wood. Each instrument goes through a pre-shipment inspection to ensure you are getting a great quality instrument. However, please keep in mind when instruments are shipped, they can endure temperature changes as well as doing the "shipper shuffle" and therefore minor adjustments may be needed to set up the instrument to your personal preferences after receiving it.
