This machine has been well maintained, but does have some minor wear marks and nicks on the tolex, as well an overall discoloring of the tolex, likely caused by cigarette smoke, which it does still have a faint smell of, as it spent quite some time in the raucous rock and blues bars of the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. But, come on, show us a vintage Marshall that doesn't have some remanence of dingy rock clubs of yesteryear, and we'll show you an un-storied history of boredom. This amp's also had the power tubes replaced with JJ's and the two push-pull knobs have been swapped out for gold-tipped knobs, instead of the normal silver-tipped knobs that the rest of the head has - which will certainly make it easier to know which knob you need to push or pull during a live gig on a dark stage.
